HL Fraas was founded by August Fraas in the 1870s. The Fraas family name is still visible on the undersides of tin roofs covering many local barns and houses. Building on the reputation of that original company, Fraas Plumbing and Heating continued serving area residents and businesses until the 1990s, when we merged with Elden Roth Electric to become HL Fraas Plumbing Heating & Electrical.

Originally an Electrical Contractor opened in 1948, Elden Roth Electric was a pioneer in bringing Geothermal Systems to our region. We became specialists in this innovative technology offering Geothermal systems by Cantherm, Tetco Geothermal, and eventually General Electric Heating and Cooling Systems, now a part of the Trane product line.

In addition to heating and cooling systems, HL Fraas Plumbing Heating & Electrical carries a full line of standby generators from Guardian, Kohler, Cummins and Detroit Diesel for your emergency power needs.
